Meet our owner and director, Dr. Veronica "V" Timmins!
Dr. V has taught and led in public schools and corporate settings for over 15 years. She started her career in education as a middle school Science teacher in Dallas and has taught all grades from early childhood to adults. Her love and passion for high quality and engaging education for all has led her to open SkyWheel Academy Daycare & Preschool. Dr. V has three educator licenses with the Texas State Board for Educator Certification to include the following:
Dr. V has an earned doctorate degree in Education specializing in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University. In addition to her education pursuit, Dr. V has studied andragogy (adult learning) and pedagogy (child learning) abroad at both the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) and Oxford University (England, UK) to deepen her knowledge of theories of teaching children and adults.
Dr. V has an abundance of recognitions, awards, credentials, and certifications to include First Aid, AED, and Pediatric CPR.
When she is not overseeing SkyWheel Academy, she is spending time with her family enjoying life!
